- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. heaping all-purpose flour
- ½ cup organic low-sodium chicken stock
- ¼ cup dry white wine
- 1 tsp. Engage Organics Original All-Purpose Blend
- 1 tsp. Engage Organics Garlicsaltless
- 2-3 tbsp. grated Swiss cheese.
Butter 13 x 9 pan and place cut up chicken into pan and cover with Engage Organics Original All-Purpose Blend. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
Melt butter in medium-sized saucepan. Add stock and wine to flour mixture and cook until golden brown or the color of coffee with cream.
Add Engage Organics Original All-Purpose and Garlicsaltless, cook 5 minutes stirring constantly, add one cup whipping cream slowly, stirring. Then add 2 tbsp. Grey Poupon mustard, then 2-3 tbsp. grated Swiss cheese. Let boil for a few minutes. Cover.
Turn chicken right side up, when browned. Drain off some of the fat, then pour sauce on chicken and put under broiler for a few minutes.
This is an excellent make ahead dish, which can be prepared in the morning and stored with the sauce over the chicken until dinner time. Remove from refrigerator and put in over for 10 minutes at 350 degrees with a foil tent until heated through (10-15 minutes). It will become one of your go-to recipes for special dinners with friends and family.
