Easy Version: Combine all ingredients in bowl and chill. This is a wonderful easy dip, you can serve with tortilla chips and veggies. It can also be used for bean burritos by adding a little cheese inside a tortilla for a quick lunch or snack.

  • 1 can non-fat refried beans
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 tsp. Mexi-Mix
  • 1 tsp. All-Purpose
  • 1/2 cup Picante Sauce


The versatility of this dip doubles as gourmet fare by  placing the above ingredients into a slow cooker for 1-2 hours on high. The basic bean dip recipe takes on a new dimension when you add these ingredients to the list above and serve it hot as a party pleaser:

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese,
  • 3oz. of cream cheese,
  • an additional 1/2 cup more Picante Sauce
  • Another 1/4 cup more sour cream.
  • Add more Mexi-Mix for zing. Taste and season to get the right heat for your taste buds.
